The meeting would be co-chaired by DGPs of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and the commissioner of police, New Delhi.
Sandhu said among the major areas of concern were the inter-state movement of criminals gangs, sharing of details of inter-state criminals, information regarding auto thieves and stolen vehicles, mutual cooperation in preventing human trafficking.
In addition to this, good practices adopted in these states to further strengthen the police system would also be shared, he added.
He said police officers would share intelligence to check cow smuggling, information about terrorists, mutual cooperation in arresting wanted criminals, information about illicit weapons, online frauds and cyber crimes, traffic congestion and detection of pre-natal sex determination in border areas.
