Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the two members of the gang and recovered a country made pistol, a motorcycle and an iron rod from their possession, a police spokesman said.
During the interrogation, the accused admitted having committed 22 crimes of snatching at various places in the state, he said.
They have been identified as Sonu and Ajitpal, residents of Muradabad in Uttar Pradesh, he said, adding they had snatched purses and jewellery from women in Rohtak, Gohana, Fatehabad, Gurgaon, Sirsa, Jind, Ratia, Kolhapur, Ghaziabad, Noida and Amroha.
