Showcasing over 18 international artists, including The Bachata World Champion and the Salsa World Champion, dance forms like Bachata, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Zumba, Jive, Tango, Jazz weaved patterns on the floor as hundreds of young participants swayed to the beats.
Andrea from Rome, a Salsa danceuse, told PTI, "This is my first visit to India. Had been to similar sessions in New York and Naples/ And I can sense the same energy level among the dance enthusiasts here. Didn't know Latino was so much popular in this part."
Internationally acclaimed film maker Josue Joseph, of the La-Epoca fame. Said the atmosphere was invigorating in sync with the character of Kolkata, while children from various age groups brushed up their DQ (Dance Quotient) in the workshops.
"Kolkata has a young and energetic crowd eager to know the intricacies of contemporary music," spokesmen for Zodiac Entertainment said.
