Intl convention of travel-tourism professionals at Hyd nxt yr

An international convention of travel and tourism professionals from 88 countries would be held in Hyderabad next year.
The Skal International Congress, International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals comprising 1,000 operators from 88 countries, would be held from October 5-8, 2017, the Telangana government said.
Skal is a professional organisation of tourism leaders from around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry, it said.
Its members, the industry's managers and executives meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest, it said.

The convention would promote Hyderabad to the international tourism circuit, it added.
