The Uttarakhand government today cleared investment proposals worth Rs 554 crore through a single window system, which are expected to generate employment opportunities for 500 people.
Companies which have been given clearance will invest in Kashipur, Roorkee, Narayan Nagar industrial area and Sitarganj.
Clearing the proposals at a meeting of theauthorised committee of the single window system here, state Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh asked various departments concerned to set a timeframe in this regard to boost investment and generate employment opportunities.
