IOB defeats RCF in basketball tournament

IOB Chennai men today trounced RCF Punjab 85-45 in the All India Basket Ball Tournament for PSG Trophy, here today.
Scoring 24 points, Siva Balan topped for the winners, followed by Prasanna Venkatesh 22 and Vineeth Revi Mathew 14.
For RCF, Bijender scored 12, Sadab Khan 10 and Harash netted eight points.
In the match for the 12th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, Western Railway beat Kerala Police 62-50, with Lincy Joseph scoring 17 points for the winners.
Anamika scored 14 and Sona 12 for the Railways while Agnes Davis (15) and Asha Abraham (10) played well for the police.
