Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei has called for better ties with the world -- though not with the United States, according to his official website today.
Khamenei met President Hassan Rouhani and his cabinet yesterday and spoke of the "necessity of developing diplomacy and relations with foreign countries," according to a transcript published in English.
"Except for a few cases -- such as the United States -- Iran's relations with other countries, including with the West and the East, must expand and further develop."
