July's agreement led to the lifting last month of international sanctions against Iran after the United Nations certified it had met all its commitments to curb its nuclear activities.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at a security conference today that "the nuclear agreement gives an opportunity to both sides to try to at least bring down the wall of mistrust that has separated Iran and the United States from each other for the past 40 years."
