Toll road firm IRB Infrastructure today said it has bagged a contract worth around Rs 2,650 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for six laning of Agra-Etawah bypass in Uttar Pradesh.
"IRB has received Letter of Award from NHAI for the project of six laning of Agra-Etawah bypass section of NH-2 in Uttar Pradesh under NHDP Phase-V on build-operate-transfer model," the company said in a statement here.
The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 2,650 crore with construction period of 910 days and the concession period for the same is 24 years.
With this project, the company's base has been expanded in eighth state, which will aid IRB's geographic diversification of projects, it said.
IRB's construction order book now stands at Rs 10,770 crore, to be executed in the next three to four years.
"This will boost IRB's visibility for next three to four years," it added.
