'Iron Man' director Shane Black to helm 'The Destroyer'

'Iron Man' helmer Shane Black has reportedly been roped in to direct 'The Destroyer', based on the 1970 adventure book series of the same name.
The film to be produced by Sony Pictures has been co-written by Jim Uhls and James Mullaney, who also co-authored books in the series and later became its sole writer series until it ended in 2008, reported Deadline.
'The Destroyer' series has been adapted into a film earlier also with 'Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins' in 1985.
