Iron trader attacked in extortion case

Three persons allegedly attacked an iron trader for not paying extortion money in Khalapar locality here, police said today.
The trader Naushad Ilahi yesterday complained that Pappu and his two accomplices assaulted him, SHO of Khalapar police station, Chaman Singh Chawda said.
The accused had demanded Rs 20 lakh as extortion money and
Attacked Ilahi when he refused to pay up, he said.
A case has been registered against the three acucsed who were absconding, the police officer said.
