ISCKON devotees set up camp at Gangasagar fair ground

To facilitate pilgrims during their visit to the Gangasagar Mela, devotees of ISKCON Mayapur are setting up a camp at the Sagar Island.
The preparations for setting up the camp is in full swing as many pilgrims from various corners of the country as well as foreign devotees have already arrived at the venue, a release from the ISKCON said today.
Like every year, the ISKCON Sewa Camp is being set up at Ganga Sagar on road no 5, near the helipad, it said.
"The camp will be stationed there from January 12-15 and will provide free of cost facilities like primary medical aid, shelters for the stay of the pilgrims," it said.
From the camp, large quantities of Prasadam and quilts will also be distributed to the visitors and during the period, there will be wonderful rendition of Hari Nama Kirtans at the camp, the release added.
