Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre Director Dr K Sivan, who declared open the 11-day meet, said it was a unique event in ISRO as participants from all its 14 centres were taking part. Men and Women from different centres of Department of Space (DOS) and ISRO are participating in the meet, hosted by VSSC. The sports programme of DOS/ISRO is the biggest event organised by Space Sports and Recreation Promotion Board (SSRPB), constituted to promote sports activities among ISRO Centres and units.
