IT raid on popular dairy product maker in TN

Income Tax officials today conducted raids at offices and other premises of a popular city-based dairy product manufacturer for alleged tax evasion, sources said here.
About 100 officials from IT department conducted raids at 11 premises and offices of the company in Tamil Nadu, including residences of the company's top executives, they said.
The city-based company has a presence in milk, curd and has set up ice cream parlours.
The company has a processing and packaging plants in Salem, Kancheepuram, Madurai, Palacodu and Thalaivasal.
The company officials could not be contacted for reaction.
