One of the ways suggested by India includes exporting agricultural exports to Iran including wheat.
"We have already paid money to Iran which is in an Iranian account in an Indian bank. It is up to Iran how to utilize it," the official spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs told reporters here.
He said "one of the ways we have suggested is by exporting agricultural goods to Iran which also includes wheat".
He was responding to a question on the status of Indian payments to Iran against the crude oil supply.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi will not be taking part in tomorrow's IOR-ARC meet tomorrow as he has been taken unwell, the spokesperson said.
Iran would be represented by its Deputy Foreign Minister.
He also said there was no confirmation for any bilateral meeting between External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister.
