India Tourism Development Corporation today said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jamia Millia Islamia to jointly offer a three-year Bachelors of Vocation in food production through the Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The MoU also includes one year diploma in hospitality, ITDC said in a statement.
Both the programmes will be jointly offered on a self-financing basis, it added.
ITDC Director Commercial and Marketing Piyush Tiwari said it is grateful to Jamia Millia Islamia for their faith in the company's expertise in hospitality training and management.
Incorporated in 1966, ITDC has a mandate to develop and expand tourism infrastructure in the country.
