J J Abrams' 'Overlord' gets a 2018 release date

Producer J J Abrams' period war film "Overlord" will release on October 26 next year.
The film will be directed by Julius Avery, announced Paramount, according to Deadline.
The movie is set in the backdrop of World War II when a group of American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission but soon realise there is more going on in the Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation.
The supernatural-thriller set in 1944 has been written by Billy Ray and Mark Smith.
Lindsey Weber will co-produce the film with Abrams.
"Overlord" will star Jovan Adepo and Wyatt Russell.
