J&K Bank sells 1.44 lakh McDowell Holdings shares

Jammu & Kashmir Bank today offloaded 1.44 lakh shares of UB group company McDowell Holdings Ltd for a little over Rs 47 lakh through open market route.
According to information available with the bourses, Jammu & Kashmir Bank sold 1,44,392 scrips of McDowell Holdings.
The shares were offloaded on an average price of Rs 32.63 valuing the transaction at Rs 47.11 lakh.
However, the buyer(s) of the shares could not be ascertained immediately.
On the BSE, shares of McDowell Holdings rose 1.35 per cent to close at Rs 33.75 apiece, while that of Jammu & Kashmir Bank slipped 0.34 per cent to settle at Rs 1480.05.
