J&K CVC calls on Governor N N Vohra

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Vigilance Commissioner Kuldeep Khoda today called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.
Khoda briefed the Governor about the functioning of the commission and the steps being taken to strengthen the institution, official sources said.
He also apprised Vohra about the shortage of staff at the CVC and efforts being taken to fill vacant posts on fast-track basis.
They also discussed the effectiveness of the anti-corruption watchdog in enhancing good governance, the sources said.
