J&K govt approves draft of Governor's address

Jammu and Kashmir government today approved the draft of the Governor's address to the joint session of the state legislature on May 25.
"The state cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief MinisterMehbooba Mufti approved the draft of the address, to be delivered by Governor, NN Vohra, to the joint sitting of the State legislature on May 25," an official spokesman said after the meeting.
The five-weekbudget session of the state assembly will begin with Governor's address on Wednesday.
The budget session of the assembly was delayed due to imposition of Governor's rule in the state following death of then chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
