J&K govt reappoints 122 retired officials
Press Trust of India Jammu Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed 122 retired officials in the state in various departments and ministries since 2009, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said today.
98 officials were re-engaged and re-employed after their retirement on superannuation, he told the state Assembly in reply to a question of Abdul Rehman Veeri (PDP).
24 retired officers have also been reappointed as staff attached to ministers of state, he said.
