J'khand Assembly comm summons Hazaribagh DC

A Jharkhand Assembly Committee today issued summons to Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar to explain as to why he did not attend its meeting despite being in the district headquarters.
"We have issued the summons to the DC to appear before the committee on August 6 in the Assembly premises in Ranchi for failing to attend today's scheduled meeting of the Estimates Committee," chairman of the committee Biranchi Narayan said at a press conference here.
"The DC even ignored after we asked the official representing him to call him to the meeting of the committee, which is a constitutional body," Narayan, the ruling BJP MLA said.

He added the committee took a serious note of his absence and informed Speaker Dinesh Oraon in this regard.
