In its political resolution on the last day of its two-day Pradesh Executive Meeting, the state unit deplored the recent Uri attack and stated that the party was with the families of the martyrs Jabra Munda and Naiman Kujur at this hour.
The resolution, a copy of which was released to the press, welcomed the Prime Minister's determined decision and the Army's surgical strikes, which taught a lesson to the enemy, besides sending a clear message across the world and congratulated Modi for isolating Pakistan.
The resolution also hailed opening of 32 new ITI between 2015 and October 2016, which would produce numerous manpower and the Centre's decision to increase maternity leave from 12 to 26 weeks.
Appealing to the people to participate in gram sabha and debate on budget, the resolution touched upon how the state government has taken effective steps with regard to panchayati and 'Jan Samvad'.
The party also expressed satisfaction at several extremists returning to the mainstream.
The resolution also touched upon several other issues like environment and Ease of Doing business.
Later, briefing reporters, BJP's state unit spokesman Pradip Sinha said the meeting decided to hold its state executive meeting within one week of the party's national executive committee meeting.
As such, the national executive meeting has been scheduled on January 7/8 and the state's would be held on January 11/12 in Sareikela-Kharsawan district.
