Jagan, Leader of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, launched the foot march, a mass outreach programme ahead of 2019 polls, on November 6, 2017, at his native village Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.
"Chandrababu Naidu government's atrocities and corrupt practices are omnipresent across the state, from a village to the (state) capital. Not one brick has been laid for the capital in the last three years," Reddy said while lashing out at the TDP-led government.
He said various sections of the society, including farmers, students, women, are experiencing a great harship under the current government. "Weavers and peasants are committing suicide," he said.
He has so far covered 33 Assembly constituencies in Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapuramu and Chittoor districts before reaching SPS Nellore district today.
Reddy is facing a trial in the Hyderabad CBI special court in various illegal asset cases.
His foot march is expected to continue for at least four more months.
