The glucose level of YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today decreased as his indefinite fast in protest against the move to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh entered its fifth day today.
"A health check-up has been done and his glucose level is decreasing while blood pressure and pulse rate are normal," a senior jail official told PTI tonight adding, the Prison Medical Officer is supervising his health condition.
Amid reports that Jagan may be shifted to hospital, a large number of supporters gathered at the Chanchalguda Jail even as police beefed up security around the jail and barricaded roads near it.
The jailed Kadapa MP, facing corruption cases, launched an indefinite fast seeking "justice for Seemandhra people" last Sunday.
