Residents of Jahangirpur village here have threatened to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha elections if polling station is not relocated from a nearby village to their area.
Villagers have demanded the relocation of polling station from the nearby Dhudhaheri village to their area as it becomes difficult for the elderly and ill people to walk four kilometres for casting their vote, a press release said today.
Residents who have been demanding a relocation for years have now decided to boycott the polls if their demands are not met, it said.
