As per the complaint, the accused Hiralal Jadhav met the woman at the Kalwa bridge here on August 26 and allegedly touched her hand forcibly, Thane Police Public Relations Officer Sukhada Narkar said.
On August 29, Jadhav also allegedly messaged her and asked her to meet him. He also send her pictures on Whatsapp, the official said.
A case under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 354(a) (sexual harassment) of the IPC was registered at Thane Nagar Police Station last night, she said, adding probe is underway.
