With spammers and intruders becoming more common on WhatsApp, a Jaipur based software company has come up with an instant messaging mobile application promising complete privacy to end the problem.
Users of 'BharatSync Communicator', to be available on Google Play store from tomorrow, will be able to avoid unknown people as his permission will be required for contacting him.
"The app is targeted for people wishing privacy and for those who want to restrict access to unknown people like businessmen, celebrities and others. Users of this app can search other people only by email id of the other user, not by mobile number," Ajay Data, founder and CEO of Data Infosys Ltd told PTI today.
"Mobile number of anyone is available easier than email ID. Hence the feature of searching someone by his or her email ID makes the searching criteria more specific. One user can contact second user only after the second user grants permission," he said.
No list of 'BharatSync Communicator User' will be displayed in the phone and the user will have to search other users by email ID only.
The features of the app do not allow users to send message to "anyone", Data noted, adding that there was huge requirement for such privacy based app because users of other apps were facing problem of unknown senders, spammers.
"This is a paradigm shift from the way enterprises/people deal with chat and their agony against WhatsApp spammers or intruders. No unknown person can add/send message/image to anyone," Data said.
He said that the service is legally interceptable and convenient.
"Initially, the app is text based (like SMS) and at later a stage, we will enhance it with pictures and video transmission," he said, adding that it has sporty icons for cool look and feel, with complete privacy.
The firm is targeting one lakh customers initially, he said, adding that the service will be free for common users and charged for companies.
