Jaitley holds meeting with BJP's Chandigarh unit

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley who is contesting from Amristar Lok Sabha seat, convened a special meeting with BJP's Chandigarh unit president Sanjay Tandon here today in view of the April 10 Parliamentary election to this constituency.
While sharing the details of the meeting, Tandon said he briefed Jaitley about the BJP's campaigns in Chandigarh.
Besides, he also sought details on the strategy being adopted to win the confidence of the people and had a detailed discussion on people's response towards the campaigns, Tandon said, according to a party release here tonight.
"The issues of the Congress party (in Chandigarh) were also talked about," Tandon said.

"The meeting continued for more than an hour where Jaitley, who is known for his cutting edge strategies, gave many suggestions to carry out effective canvassing to ensure victory of the party," he said.
BJP has fielded Kirron Kher from Chandigarh against Congress's four-time MP at former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and AAP's Gul Panag, among others.
