The Jalianwala Bagh Express from Amritsar was on its way to Tata Nagar when two sleeper and one AC coach derailed after crossing Ramganga bridge last night. Nobody was hurt in the derailment, Divisonal Railway Manager, Moradabad Parmod Kumar said.
All trains passing through Moradabad were at slow speed after the derailment of goods laden train on Wednesday. No casuality has been reported, Kumar said.
Twenty Lucknow bound trains were diverted and passed via Chandausi, leading to delay in services by two hours, Kumar said.
The restoration work of the damaged track is going on, he said.
