Jamia placement cell holds internship & job fair

The placement cell of Jamia Millia Islamia held a two-day internship and job fair with 1,800 students and 40 companies taking part in it.
The cell had also arranged lectures on career development, foreign study and new career options, besides a recruiters' meet yesterday evening, a varsity statement said.
More than 200 students were placed in various companies during the event.
The fair, which concluded yesterday, registered participation of companies like Denso, Parkkar, IDS Infotech, Digigrapes, ESC, The Corporate Intervention, Medicodeal, Cresco, MBD Group, Taxmann Education, GCE Ltd, The Quint, Frankfinn Management (Emirates Airlines) and APEX.
According to the statement, the varsity has already placed its students in companies like TCS, WIPRO, HERO Motocorp, L&T Constructions, L&T Power, Siemens, Newgen Software, New Holland Tractos, Sonalika Tractors, Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Blue Star and others this year.
