The two-member committee set up by the Jharkhand government to probe the communal riot that had broken out in Jamshedpur on July 20 has submitted its report to the Home department.
"We submitted a report yesterday on the communal clashes that had occurred in a part of the steel city on July 20," said Arun, a panel member and Commissioner of Kolhan region.
He, however, refused to elaborate on the panel's findings.
Earlier, the district administration had imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC followed by curfew after clashes occurred in parts of the city, mainly in Mango, Azadnagar, Olidih and MGM police station areas.
Chief Minister Raghuvar Das had constituted a two-member committee comprised of Arun and DIG R K Dhan to probe the riots.
The committee members camped in the still city for about 10 days for their investigation.
