Japanese Consul General calls on TN CM

: Consul General of Japan in Chennai Kojiro Uchiyama today called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami at the Secretariat.

"The meeting was a courtesy call", official sources said.

Consul-Economic Adviser Shiho Bamba and state Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan was also present on the occasion.

Uchiyama had served the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi as Counsellor, Public Relations, between 2008 and 2011.
