Jason Derulo was robbed off of USD 300,000 in cash and jewellery, when thieves struck the singer's mansion here.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ.com that when a member of the 28-year-old musician's team went to his home on the afternoon of September 23, he noticed something was amiss.
Thereafter, cops were called for the investigation.
The police are tight-lipped on how the burglars got into the house and what specifically was stolen. They had also broken a door and a window.
Derulo was out of town and the cops are waiting for him to return to ID the missing items. They believe it may be an inside job because the robbers only ransacked one room.
The "Wiggle" singer has joined the league of celebs who have been subjected to burglaries, such as Demi Lovato, David Spade, Kendall Jenner, Drake, Emmy Rossum, Alanis Morissette, Scott Disick and Nicki Minaj.
