Fighting for reservation of Jat community, All India Jat Reservation Committee has said that it will take to protesting on railway tracks after the Jat Panchayat elections if their demand for reservation is not granted.
"We will claim our right which was snatched after being granted to us once," national president of AIJRC Yashpal Mallik said at a rally in Gohana today.
He said that the movement for reservation will start again by blocking railway tracks in Hisar in February. They will give a three-day ultimatum before the protest.
Mallik appealed the INLC and Congress MLAs to introduce a bill in the state legislative assembly for reservation of Jat community like a private member's Bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha to amend the NCBC Act.
