Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar will meet party workers tomorrow at BJP headquarters here as part of the series of meetings by Union Ministers to hear grievances and get feedback from them to ensure better government-party coordination.
Javadekar, who is also the Minister of State for Environment will be at the party headquarters between 4.00 PM and 6.00 PM as part of the 'Sahyog Programme' to help redress grievances of party workers and public and also seek feedback them.
On Tuesday, Minister of State for Power and Coal Piyush Goyal would meet party workers, while Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha on Wednesday.
Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would be meeting the party workers and public on Thursday, while Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Krishan Pal Gujjar on Friday.
The Ministers will be meeting the partymen as part of BJP's efforts to keep the party vibrant even after Government formation and maintain close ties with party workers.
The move, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meeting with party leaders here on July 2, is aimed at not only ensuring better government-party coordination but also getting feedback from partymen visiting the party office from all over the country.
As per the decision, a minister has to be made available once everyday between 4 to 6 PM to meet party men and redress their grievances.
The initiative is one of the many taken by the party after Modi's close associate Amit Shah took over as party president last month.
This series was launched last week in the presence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
