Jawan found hanging in Army camp in Jammu, CoI ordered

An Army jawan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his barracks at the Army camp in Digiana belt here, police said today.
Police said that the deceased jawan has been identified as Vale Murgan of Tamil Nadu.
According to an Army officer, the jawan of Sappers (engineering unit) was found hanging last night inside his barracks by his fellow jawans.
They rushed him to the Military hospital in Jammu, where Murgan was declared brought dead, he said.
Post mortem is being held, he said adding that police have registered a case and investigation was on.
The Army too has ordered a Court of Inquiry (CoI) into it, the officer said.
The jawan had got married on January 26 this year and was on leave during January to March period, he said.
