Jaya sanctions cash relief to kin of deceased police personnel

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today mourned the death of seven police personnel who died of natural causes and in road accidents and announced a cash relief of Rs three lakh each to their families.
In separate condolence letters to their spouses, Jayalalithaa expressed grief over their death.
In a statement, she said she had directed that the families of the police personnel be paid Rs three lakh as relief from the Chief Minister's General Relief Fund.
