The actor will receive the award on the opening night of the film festival, which will be held on November 5 at the Steve Tisch Cinema Center at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The fest will present its 2017 IFF Cinematic Achievement Award to Israeli film star Lior Ashkenazi, winner of this year's Israeli Academy Ophir Award as best actor for his work in "Foxtrot".
This year's festival chairman is Adam Berkowitz, CAA co- head of TV Serving as honorary chairman is Arnon Milchan, owner of New Regency Productions.
The screenings will be taking place at the Ahrya Fine Arts by Laemmle (Beverly Hills), Laemmle Royal Theater (West LA) and the Laemmle Town Center 5 (Encino).
