Marciano is the only heavyweight champion to retire from his professional career undefeated.
The film follow Marciano from his childhood until his death.
Considered the best heavyweight boxers of all time, he won the title six times between 1952 and 1956 before retiring at the age of 32.
He died in a plane crash few days before his 46th birthday in August 1969.
Samuel Franco and Evan Kilgore have penned the script.
Morris S Levy, who owns the rights to the life story of the legendary boxer, will produce the film.
