Jet Airways flight aborts take-off as cargo door remains open

A Delhi-bound Jet Airways flight from Mumbai aborted take-off today after the aircraft's cargo door was found open, airport sources said.
The runway was vacated following the incident which happened around 6 PM and the aircraft taken to a parking bay, they said.
"The pilot of the Jet Airways flight 9W for Delhi aborted the take-off after there was an indication that the door of the cargo belly was not shut," sources said.
The number of passengers onboard could not be immediately ascertained.
Jet Airways spokesperson was not available for comments.
