unidentified persons in village Maho of this district, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when jeweller Dharmveer Singh was shot at by some persons when he was returning home. The assailants fled with a bag of jewellery Singh was carrying with him, they said.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
