Jewellers attacked in bus, 1.1kg bag containing gold snatched

: Two jewellers carrying about 1.1 kg of gold on a bus were attacked by a two member gang who then decamped with the jewels at Kamuthakudi railway gate, 30 kms from here, police said.
The jewellers were proceeding to Ramanathapuram from Madurai when the gang who were co-travellers, attacked them, jumped off the bus and fled, they said.
The injured jewellers have been hospitalised.
