"Within one year through effective governance, I believe, I got back the faith of the people," Das said.
After taking questions from the people on the first anniversary of 'Jan Samvad Kendra', a programme introduced to connect with the people and solve their problems through direct contact, Das said he was committed for transparent and good governance.
Stating that he would not allow any stain on his government, Das said that effective and transparent governance was everyone's right.
Again claiming that the 2016/17 budget has taken care of suggestions from the people, Das said constructive suggestions by anyone would be rewarded with Rs 51,000 from the current Rs 21,000.
Das felicitated with reward money of Rs 21,000 each to three persons from Giridih, Gumla and Simdega for their 'valuable suggestions'.
