"The JMM leadership has given ticket to Vijay Hansda, whose father, the late Thomas Hansda was with the Congress and used to oppose the creation of Jharkhand. Even Vijay was also in Congress," Marandi told reporters here.
Hansda had recently joined the JMM from the Congress and got the ticket to contest from the Raj Mahal LS seat, prompting party veteran Hemlal Murmu to quit JMM and join BJP.
"Some political parties have approached me. I will decide upon it only after March 26," Marandi said while criticising his own party leadership.
Marandi became the second minister in the Hemant Soren cabinet to vent anger in public in the recent weeks.
Earlier, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had dismissed Chandrasekhar Dubey on February 19. Later, Dubey quit the Congress after being denied ticket from Dhanbad and joined Trinamool Congress.
