Seraikela-Kharswan district of Jharkhand has been declared Open Defecation Free (ODF), a top official today said.
Seraikela-Kharswan was the 10th district of Jharkhand to achieve the feat after all the nine blocks of the districts were declared ODF.
At a function organized on Friday in the district Headquarter in Seraikela, Deputy Commissioner Chavi Ranjan declared the industrial district of Seraikela-Kharswan as ODF.
Adityapur Municipal Corporation and Seraikela Municipality of the district had already been declared ODF six months ago.
