The honorarium of SPOs (Special Police Officers) engaged in J&K Police was enhanced from Rs 3000 to Rs 6000 from January 1, 2016, a police officer said.
"The said order was pending for implementation since January, 2016 due to scarcity of funds", he said.
"Now, on the availability of funds, theJammu Police while implementingthe above government order, has drawn and disbursed the honorarium on revised scale of Rs 6000 per month from July 2016 to the SPOs of Jammu District", he said.
