JK Guv reviews security situation

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today reviewed security situation in the state and also asked administrative secretaries to ensure good governance in their departments.
Rajendra Kumar, Director General of Police, JK, met the Governor at the Civil Secretariat here, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
Vohra reviewed the internal security situation in the state with Kumar.
The Governor also held separate discussions with Principal Secretary (Planning and Development) and Principal Secretary (Finance) and reviewed all major issues relating to the current Annual Plan, formulation of the Annual Plan 2015-16, budgetary issues, payment of wages to casual employees and other matter relating to fiscal management.
The Governor exhorted administrative secretaries to ensure good governance in the state.
Vohra, who assumed charge as the head of the government in the state on January 8, chaired the meeting with administrative secretaries of all the departments at the Civil Secretariat here.
The Governor asked the Secretaries to take effective steps to ensure that the functionaries of the departments and agencies under their charge attend office punctually.
Vohra asked the Secretaries to clear all pending cases and also directed the Chief Secretary to send him all the cases which relate to policy or significant decisions.
