JK highway closed for traffic due to landslide

The 300-km long Jammu-Srinagar national highway was closed for vehicular traffic due to blockade triggered by heavy rains in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir this evening.
The highway was closed due to blockade caused by landslides triggered by heavy rains in Gangroo area in Ramsoo belt of the district this evening, police said.
Due to closure of the highway, several hundred vehicles were stranded at various places and heavy jams were witnessed in other stretches of the highway for past several hours, they said.
