Rowling has quickly jumped to the athlete's defense on Twitter after the female tennis player was dissed by an internet troll over her physical appearance, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Ironic then that main reason for her success is that she is built like a man," the hater wrote, to which Rowling quickly fired back, "Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot."
The reply was accompanied with pictures of Williams showing off her curves in a red form-fitting dress.
Before shutting up the hater, Rowling raved about Williams following her sixth Wimbledon win on Saturday.
